Getting Ready to Write K-1

Teach your students how to identify genre and author’s purpose, and develop the foundational skills of narrative, informational and opinion writing.

A Sentence A Day K-2

The focus begins in Kindergarten with pencil placement, spacing, and letter formation. The resource then progresses to writing sentences and building powerful vocabulary, alongside grammar and conventions. 

Literacy Launch Gr. 2-8

Teachers will introduce students to each of the organizational structures, learn to summarize text, and internalize the annotation and analysis process for both narrative and informational/opinion texts.

Informational Gr. 2-8

Constructed Response Gr. 2-8

Create both Short and Extended Constructed Response by applying specific skills to tasks that require students to identify and cite evidence from text.

Editing & Revising Gr. 3-6

Empowering Writers will provide the “how” for delivering direct instruction in revising and editing. Experience how specific instruction of grammar and mechanics brings clarity to all forms of communication. Come away with so much more than just “skill and drill”!
