This mini-grant is a unique opportunity for educators new to Empowering Writers to implement proven writing strategies and enhance literacy instruction. Whether you want to introduce new teaching methods or maximize your current RLA comprehensive resource, these grants are designed to help you succeed.

An opportunity to innovate and improve writing instruction for your students.
Grant Requirements:
Educators who are new to Empowering Writers.
K-8 teachers: classroom teachers, literacy coaches and specialists.
Commitment to implementation of Empowering Writers: Applicants should be ready to implement Hub materials and professional development in their classroom.
Must complete the application by August 20, 2025.
Winners will be selected and announced on August 27, 2025.
Grant recipients will be required to:
- Submit a short summary or reflection on the impact of the grant. - Share student samples or instructional outcomes.
