Kindergarten-1st Grade Teacher Resources

Getting Ready to Write guide is jam-packed with lessons that will prepare your youngest writers for narrative, expository/informative, and opinion writing, as well as age-appropriate research skills. This book focuses on awareness and understanding of story and of genre with age-appropriate lessons for your youngest authors.

Primary grade, ELL, and Special Ed students will benefit from the lessons and methodology of A Sentence A Day. In an engaging, fast-paced ten minutes a day, students learn how sentences are constructed, recognize the parts of simple sentences, while reinforcing the basic characteristics of story.

Writing Guides for Grades 2-5
