These Reading Alignment Writing Guides offer an optional side-by-side planning approach for intentionally integrating explicit writing instruction with your core reading program. Designed to complement, the guides help you make meaningful connections between reading and writing while maintaining Empowering Writers' recommended instructional sequence.

The guides can be used with both print and All-in-One HUB resources. Teachers using the All-in-One HUB will also have access to a few new and extended lessons developed specifically to support the reading alignments and provide additional opportunities for practice and reinforcement.
