Sherrie is an accomplished elementary instructional specialist based in Central Texas, with over 34 years of experience in education. With 21 years spent in various classroom roles, she has been an integral part of the district curriculum team in Lampasas, TX, for the past 13 years. Sherrie's passion for coaching teachers and celebrating their successes drives her work.

Having taught 4th grade ELAR with a focus on writing, Sherrie has dedicated the last 13 years to training educators within her district and across the state. Recognizing the need for practical resources to enhance reading and writing instruction, she discovered Empowering Writers. The impactful training she received from the organization inspired her to join their team, where she now serves as a trainer. Sherrie has effectively utilized Empowering Writers’ resources with students and teachers alike, confidently endorsing their methods for success in the classroom.
