Barbara Keiser

With over three decades of classroom experience, Barbara brings a deep understanding of elementary education and writing instruction to her work. She spent 31 years teaching grades 1–5 before retiring, and during that time, used Empowering Writers in her district for 13 years.

For the past 11 years, Barbara has worked directly with Empowering Writers, supporting teachers and students in grades K–10 across all genres of writing. Her passion for clear, effective instruction and her firsthand experience in the classroom make her a trusted guide for educators looking to elevate their writing instruction.
