  Workshop

We encourage teachers to determine the workshop best suited to them based on the criteria, practices, and standards of the district and/or state in which they teach.  All of our workshops use literature and/or published pieces of writing as a basis for instruction and have a powerful vocabulary building component.  We share numerous examples of actual student writing and related enrichment projects.

Teachers leave Empowering Writers workshops with strategies and tools that can be immediately implemented in the classroom.
