Can I buy just one CD for use in my classroom?
No, the CDs are sold as school packages only. We require that each teacher using the materials have their own classroom CD. Also, the school administrator needs to agree to and sign a site license agreement.
Is that true with Editing and Revising as well?
Yes, however with the Editing and Revising we just require that you purchase the CDs for an entire grade level. So, for example if your third grade classrooms are using the materials you need to only purchase the CDs for each of the grade 3 classrooms.
Do I still need to buy the Editing and Revising Teacher’s Manual if I purchase the CD?
Yes, but if you already own it you do not need to purchase it again. Remember, the CD is just the content of the student books so you will be using your manual for the lesson procedures and detailed plans.
Are these CDs interactive?
No, the CD itself is not interactive but it will allow you to project the student page onto the interactive whiteboards and then you can take advantage of some of your system’s features to make the lesson more interactive.
What is the cost of the CDs?
The CD for either the Narrative or Expository Writing Guide is $250 per genre per site.
The CD for the student books of the Editing and Revising Teacher’s Manual is the same cost as a class set of student books except this is a one time purchase of $99.99 per classroom. The complete Editing and Revising Set includes the Teacher’s Manual and Student Book CD and sells for $124.99.
